Their intentions are unclear a bit bHecause while they said they are looking to expand their team, they are really just looking for someone to come in and lead the entirety of the supply chain team. One question they asked was "how will you account for geopolitics in terms of purchasing decisions?" Anyone that works in supply chain would know that that's impossible to predict and trying to predict a potential conflict down the road is something that you can't account for and have to make the best decision for now in the present.
