Colloquio
Virtual assessment centre is a 4-hour process that goes through a handful of tasks: individual interview, group presentation, individual presentation, email/report writing, and lastly a scheduling/timetabling task.
Individual interview was a skills based interview (nothing technical) going through how competent you are in taking ownership, working in teams, time management, handling vague feedback, handling setbacks/challenges, changing approaches midway though a task, and RSM culture and products
Group presentation involved you looking at 2 things for networking schemes (maybe subject to change idk) into RSM and how you and your team would go about it. They then ask you questions regarding your approach.
Individual presentation involved looking at 3 charity related investments for RSM, pick one and present why . They then throw in more evidence such as an increase in cost of that investment and how that would change your approach.
Email report is basically you summarising findings and recommendations on the individual presentation task.
Scheduling task makes you timetable yourself when given way too many tasks under the context that you are going on annual leave --> somethings should be done before going on leave, some things can be handed over to colleague, and some things can be done after leave. You will then be scrutinised on why you timetable yourself as such. Timetabling was by far the hardest task.
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
Individual interview:
1. How do you take on several tasks and take ownership of said tasks?
2. Would people close to you say you enjoy working in a team? Why?
3. You are asked to change your approach mid way through a task? How do you respond?
4. You are given vague feedback by a manager. How do you work off of this?
5. How do you manage having too much work?
6. What about RSM's culture and/or products interest you and why?
