The 1st Step was an Initial Screening test by the HR who asked rapid fire questions pertaining to Networking basics like TCP 3-way handshake, Port Numbers, basic subnetting, subnet masks, embryonic connection, IPSec Phases, Spanning-Tree, etc.
Next was a hour long interview with the Team Lead which was technical focusing on Security related concepts. I was asked to explain IPSec VPN in detail, ASA Firewall concepts, a scenario based question related to Firewalls and Limiting the embryonic TCP Connections, Zone-Based Firewalls, Security Levels, Modular Policy Framework (MFP), etc. I have been invited to their San Antonio Office to do a face to face interview.
The interviewer asked me to get acquainted with DNS, Load-Balancers, NAT-Traversal which I couldn't answer. He was really warm and friendly throughout the interview.
