Too long I was made to talk for 7 hours with 10 different people and couple of repeats, everyone was courteous except for the General Manager. who sounded like he did not want to hire anymore folks. All employees who interviewed me belonged to recently acquired company and the rounds of interviews went very well and I was thinking ok the 2nd rounds was final one and this whole process went for one month. Finally the GM also wanted to interview me as an final say, he belonged to Rackspace and not acquistion, his tone was that we really don't need to have a new hire as against his teams wishes who all wanted to hire, sounded like he was turning down everyone the group proposed to hire. Not sure, if Rackspace is going to have massive layoffs after two years of busy acquistions.
