They used an outsourced company to do the phone screens. The phone screen was fine, the recruiter asked meaningful questions, but wasn't really able to answer any specific questions about the HR strategy etc. (which I thought was reasonable). She stated she would put me forward to the hiring manager, felt really good about our conversation, and should expect a call over the next few days for face to face interview. I never heard back, even after following up twice with recruiter.
I do not know what happened, perhaps I was not right for the job, however this does leave a bad taste! I spent 45 minutes of my time, and wasn't even given the common courtesy of a "thank you but you're not right for this role" or whatever. Not only have you lost what would have been the opportunity to work with a very talented HR professional, but you have also lost a CUSTOMER of your services.
This is POOR recruitment practice and I'm actually not surprized by this lack of effort/thought/best practice after reading the reviews of your company from previous employees.

Very good. They asked questions very nicely and asked about my preference. The questions were simple and straight forward. They made me feel friendly and welcoming. I really liked the interview process
