I was frequently called by one of their recruiters 5-7 times consecutively throughout the hiring process. The salary was on the lower end of my range but I wanted to meet with the team and hiring manager to talk about the role, I was willing to lower my expectations for the right fit. However, their recruiter continued to be inappropriate and I felt uncomfortable with this person representing me to a national brand in my industry. I’ve worked with great people from Randstand before, so to save face I cited the salary as rationale for not moving forward. Their recruiter responded by threatening me in writing that this decision to not interview will impact my ability to be shortlisted with Randstand in the future. This was eventually escalated to a more senior account manager who was great but the entire experience was jarring. I have never in my life received 7 phone calls within the span of 7 minutes, not even in a true emergency.
