I was initially contacted by someone from the RealPage HR team and had a 20-30 minute conversation in which he closed by saying he would follow up in the coming week. Two weeks later, I heard from what I believe was his supervisor, apologizing for the delay, but the previous individual had been let go in a 'restructure'. Red flag #1. That was followed up by an interview by team leaders for an hour, where I was asked to do a design exercise. Despite these type exercises being considered highly unprofessional and very unethical, I proceeded. I submitted my free work to them, and was promptly ghosted. I have not heard a word from RealPage since that I have not initiated with their HR representative asking for any sort of feedback, good, bad or indifferent.
