I was reached out to after applying online. The recruiter got back with me quickly and scheduled the initial HR screen. The meeting went pleasantly with the HR recruiter or so I thought. They sent the generic we are going with other candidates email after a few days (the position is still listed)

I had a phone screen with the recruiter to start. Then I received a phone call from a consultant they hired to do the technical interview. The interview was like getting a test on Objective-C. I was asked a bunch of esoteric questions about the language, having little to do with my day-to-day coding experience. It was not a fun interview and that the end of the interview process.
