I applied online and received an email to schedule a call. The only availability was over a week out. The call was scheduled for 60 minutes but only lasted 20 minutes. As soon as I got the call (which was late), the interviewer jumped into asking me questions - no overview on what the call would entail. They were clearly in a rush and not trying to be friendly. I was asked about the experience in my resume and grilled about why I would consider changing industries. None of the questions were about the work I actually did or any accomplishments I had. I was asked if I wanted to work in person or remotely, and while I was answering, the interviewer cut me off to tell me it didn't matter because they allow their workers to choose between onsite and remote (why ask me this instead of just telling me and being rude?) The job posting I applied to was a bit vague. I had to ask several times about what the role would actually entail (who would I be supporting, who would I work with), and I got lectured about how Reckitt doesn't believe in job descriptions. This is a red flag, as everyone should have clear responsibilities to base their performance on. After getting absolutely nothing but attitude out of the person I spoke to, I stopped asking questions. To be honest, this was one of the worst interviews I've ever had. If this is the candidate experience they give to people within the Talent Acquisition space, I can't imagine it translating well to other areas. My assumption is that they likely already interviewed a candidate they liked and were just having this call as a courtesy, but unfortunately this interaction gave me such a bad impression that I would not consider them as an employer for any future opportunities.

Slick, turned around very quickly, accommodating with availability, clarity from the offset as to what would be involved in the process, got to meet a number of different members of the team at the latter stages so really got a feel for the organisation and culture of the business, everyone very welcoming.
