I had initially interviewed for an entry-level position, which I turned down because the pay was laughably low. After I did that, Red Hat got back in touch with me about a senior position with pay more commensurate with my expectations. At this time I had another offer on the table, but I decided to go through with their interview anyway. Boy that was a mistake! They brought me on-site, showed me an org chart that included where I *would* be working, went through a few more interview motions, then asked me if I was still interested. I said yes, but I need to make up my mind between them & the other company soon. They said they'd have an offer ready to by the beginning of the following week. Well, Monday went by with no reply. By Tuesday, I was making phone calls & sending emails asking for an update and reminding them that I had a deadline to meet. Wednesday evening around 6 PM, I finally received an email from them saying that they'd decided to go with another applicant. I was SOOO mad at them, not because I didn't get the job, but because they almost cost me the other position; I had to string them along waiting for Red Hat to get back to me so I could make my decision. Red Hat lied to my face during the interview, and I can only assume tried to keep me from landing the other position out of spite. It is the worst employer I have ever had the misfortune of encountering.

Was very smooth and the managers were kind to explain what they expect out of the candidate, outlining their responsibilities, how they can contribute to the company. They also make it a point to give you a good introduction to the team, their procedures, processes. Overall the experience was smooth
