Colloquio
It usually begins with an initial screening—a short call with a recruiter to discuss the role and background. Next comes the technical or skills assessment, which may involve coding challenges, case studies, or problem-solving exercises, depending on the job. Successful candidates then proceed to interviews with hiring managers or team members, which can be behavioral, technical, or a mix of both. Some companies also include panel interviews or presentation rounds. Finally, there’s the offer stage, where compensation and terms are discussed before onboarding. The entire process can vary based on the industry and company size. #InterviewTips #HiringProcess

I had several rounds of interviews - beginning with an HR screen, next a video meeting with a hiring manager, and then a case study was assigned which was sent in an email with a due date in less than 2 days. After the case study due date passed, I was then scheduled for a 4-hour in person interview to present the findings from the case study. The day of the interview I met with 4 people individually for around 30-45 minutes each, and then the presentation of the case study in front of ~7 people. I had what I thought was a good experience with who I met with and how the presentation went. They asked some technical questions that were tough to answer on the spot in front of 7 people. I never heard any feedback from the company, and after 3 weeks of waiting I reached out to the HR contact and thankfully, they responded saying they had offered the position to someone else. I think after so much time (and time off of my current job) the least they could have done is let me know the status of the position.
