      Colloquio per Social Media Manager

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Red Ventures (New York, NY) nel mese di feb 2023

      Colloquio

Predatory interview process. I was expected to interview with more than 7 people, including the hiring manager and recruiter twice. The interview process’ second round included completing an in-depth project and 2 days of interviews for nearly 3 hours each day. The alternative was to do 5-6 hours in a single day. This was after an initial recruiter call, and a full interview with the hiring manager. The following round was an interview with the president of the company I was interviewing for within RV. I’m no stranger to a project, but this one was particularly involved and I was given less than 3 days to complete it. Almost everyone I interviewed with seemed absolutely wonderful, which makes it an even bigger shame that RV’s interview process is probably a turnoff for a lot of great talent and preventing those who do not have the time and money to dedicate to this process from completing it. I was given nothing but glowing feedback throughout the whole process, both during my interviews and from the recruiter after. The recruiter then informed me that I’d be in a lengthy holding pattern for up to 6 weeks while they considered other candidates, but were “still incredibly interested, and (they) absolutely loved (me).” About 6-7 weeks later, I was given an automated message that they wouldn’t be moving forward, with no explanation.
