No interview. I also wasn't offered a contract, merely the chance to submit my tax file number. The whole thing felt way too casual and unprofessional. And my experience teaching at the school was much the same. Teachers feel a little bit like mercenaries. Schools aim to please the parents - all schools - but this one felt a little too much like a smash n grab place. Was happy to leave, been at another school for almost two years and much happier.

It was rather last minute. But everything was Very professional. Tough interview panel, i was asked a lot of questions. Also did a lesson observation. Did not get it in the end but I was informed with a personal phone call from the head which I really appreciated.
