Colloquio
Interview was three parts. One was a short, ten minute video. If successful, followed by a 'trial shift day' and then if successful, followed by a 'trial week'.
Ten minute interview was brief and short.
Trial shift day consisted of three activities to do throughout the day. All of the activities were straight-forward.
At the end of the day, I was asked to sit in a conference room before being asked a couple of questions before I could leave. During this time, I could hear unprofessional comments being made about me from the next room as I waited for what seemed a lot longer than five minutes. The day was okay but it was a shame that the end of the day ruined it when I had heard some of the remarks being said.
This made me feel like I had wasted the day, as I would not feel comfortable working there after hearing remarks about me being 'overdressed' (although I was told to dress formally) and comments which were not about my work ethic or the work I had produced throughout the day. But instead about my appearance and what my personality came across (even though I spent most of the day trying to be as polite as possible, completing the tasks and remaining professional; I came across as a 'popular girl'.) Very disappointed since before this moment, I had felt like the day had been going okay.
