Hiring process and interview went very quickly. Spoke with the recruiter for the first time on Friday, interviewed on Monday and was given a verbal offer by Monday afternoon. Granted, this facility is in rural TN and the need for SLPs is great. I don't think they wanted to waste much time looking all over the place. The offer was decent but I knew they were low-balling me.
The interviewer asked me several clinically based questions which I appreciated. It made me feel like I was more than just a warm body to fill the position. She truly did care about what I know.

She gave me a clinical scenario about a patient with a certain diagnosis and wanted to know how I would handle the situation and what type of therapy I would use.
