      Colloquio

      I applied and was contacted 2 weeks later for a 30-min phone screen. The phone screen with the recruiter went well. She asked about my experience, was able to speak about the role's needs at a high level, and spent additional time talking about the company, the hiring team, and clearly outlined all interview phases and provided a link to an interview guide. I was moved forward to a 1-hour panel interview with the hiring manager and two other Directors. That interview felt like an interrogation. The hiring manager walked through my resume and asked questions about my experience - but in a way that made assumptions about team structure, processes and metrics in my current role. The majority of the questions were related to email deliverability and compliance. The hiring manager's peers rarely spoke up and only asked one question each. I was ghosted after that interview and never received any follow up.
