We’d also like to clarify that the question regarding your partner was not part of the formal interview. It came up during a broader personal conversation with the interviewer, who is also a recent immigrant and had gone through the Canadian citizenship process. As you had shared your own path to citizenship, the discussion was intended as a moment of shared experience.
