I applied for the telemarketing position, styled as part-time, It was a "cattle call"--that is a webinar with about 10 people. The usual lame questions, what are your career goals, what makes you qualified for this job, and so forth. And in the end, we were told who would be selected. I was not. Despite having over 15 years of telemarketing experience. And I am 70 years old. Strange thing though, about a few days later I received an invite again! I told them the times that I would be available. Then looked at the page upon which this invite had been sent and suddenly got the phrase, "not selected by employer!" Just after I had told them when I would be available! I am sorry to say it but we seem to have some very flaky people, very incompetent people running this company. I have noticed too that this ad is in the employment sections of websites constantly. Which tells me lots of turnover!
