I actually found Rev.com last April (2018) and started the test then. I remembered the company a couple of weeks ago and completed the test, I received news that I had passed about two weeks ago. It's straight forward and plenty of resources and information to help you.

Initial information is collected regarding work experience and skills. If you are a fit you will be contacted. Must pass exam. Given materials to study and can search through the documents to make sure you apply rules correctly.
The interview process for the freelance captioned position is fairly standard. You have to demonstrate that you can caption a video using their system. If you are able to meet metric requirements right off the bat it is not that big of a deal.
