      Colloquio per Business Development Manager

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto più di una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Revolut (Londra, Inghilterra) nel mese di feb 2021

      Colloquio

Got an invite from the Company to discuss the role and opportunity. Then the process is also shared in 4 rounds where every round is an elimination round (so be aware of this and put your time and effort accordingly). The next round was with the Business team where the interviewer was very welcoming and wanted to understand what you do and asked questions on the challenges they are solving in their roles. Next round was on Problem solving skills- This round a lot about your luck where you can be asked anything to check your thinking capabilities and the person on the other end gets to decide on their understanding and there is no right or wrong answers to this. I was asked a very unrealistic case which is not relevant to the role or to the company. Adding to that the interviewer was visibly disinterested (very cold, not much understanding about the case given to solve and also very unstructured in approach to help in answering questions solve the case). I got a rejection after this round. So my advice to all candidates is to not put all eggs in one basket and put in all for this interview as your fate lies in the hands on someone who could be as communicative or as cold in my case to judge you on a case study. Always believe a 30 mins case study is not a enough criteria to judge you on your skills and capabilities. P.S. This is not a hate post. Writing this to help other aspirants to take things easily and treat this interview process like any other. Ignore the pass rates and things like that. Take one round at a time as if you are in an elimination chambers.

      Colloquio

Detailed interview with questions regarding partnership, acquisition, analysis skills. Questions good / past experience matter / overall good interviewer very patient If you’re a Founder, it can be difficult to understand why VCs aren’t willing to write checks for $200k to promising founders… The reason is because they spent all of their fund investing in AI startups.
