I have 3 rounds for Sr. SDET Position. In my last round they told me that it will be coding round however in actual interview there was no coding questions at all. He asked me about project work and framework. Everything went well but I got mail of rejection.
Don't be happy if you have good interview. They may reject even after good technical interview.

I applied online. N got a call from recruiter directly. So I discussed pretty much with the recruiter that I'm not a hard core developer but I can program for Test Automation. She okayed for this. Pause.
After two days a telephonic round was scheduled with the delivery lead.
Before interviewing me he already had my CV and have expected him to gone through. Nevertheless I still explained in detail what I've worked on. No questions no answers. He took a round about saying that he thinks I cannot be hired for the position as I might not clear all the rounds (according to him) because they are going to be very difficult for me. 8 rounds of interview out of which all are technical.
And in turn he does me a favor by mentioning about some lesser role to be interviewed for.
So that In case in future if SDET role gets emptied I can vouch for it. What's this?
A consolation prize?
If recruiter and hiring manager have not understood the skill set vs. jd pls don't shortlist a candidate for interview. And please decide if a position is really open(if your favorite people are not in queue) to be hired for.
Don't offer biscuits. It doesn't suit.
