Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'altra fonte. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso RingCentral nel mese di feb 2022
Colloquio
The interview process was total of 4 rounds. Screening with HR, Sales Manager Interview, Interview with Culture Team + Current BDR’s + SDR Managers (presentation).
Great people throughout the process until the last interview (presentation) with SDR Managers (team of 5 or 6). I joined the video call presentation, and was rushed to start the presentation without a chance to introduce myself or let the potential team members introduce themselves.
Started the presentation and people kept joining the video call while I was presenting. There was 5 or 6 varying managers at this video call and I was the only one with a camera on, dressed to interview, while other members off camera on black screens.
I have been through plenty of interviews, but was never a part of a such hostile Interview. I asked for feedback, and was met with “We will take this in private and discuss the feedback within our team”. Doesn’t sound very transparent to me.
Here is my constructive feedback:
1. There should always be introductions in an interview. The candidates should get to know each other before jumping right into business, which in this case was the presentation.
2. If you set a videocall interview, make sure that both parties are on camera, it is still an interview. It is disrespectful to interview to a black screen, otherwise just set a voice call.
3. Interviewing is a two-way street. Please treat it that way.
There are great people at RingCentral. Be cautious and make sure you take notice of red flags within some teams.
Good luck, hope this helps.

How would you go about finding decision makers within an organization?
The interview was very standard and nothing stood out. I accepted another job while waiting for a response. Not a bad experience, but nothing that was specifically drawing me there
