Smooth, decent communication. Timely notification when moving to next round as well as when they decided to go in another direction. Recruiters are not advocates. I was an employee referral and it seemed like that was helpful at first but made me and notifying me not that much of a priority. I had to follow up a lot and they were super interested in me and I had many rounds of interviews.
