Had a quick interview with HR. They asked some general questions about working rights and past work experience. Technical interview: It seemed like they weren't interested in the experience listed on my resume. They just kept asking questions from a question bank. I received an auto-generated rejection email after a couple of weeks with no feedback. It would have been really helpful if they had provided some personalised feedback instead of just a template, especially given the company’s strong reputation in the industry. During my interview process, I had the chance to speak with people from different regions and teams. I noticed that there seemed to be varying interpretations of the same role depending on the team or location. While I understand that each team may have different needs, a more consistent definition of the role, including expectations, required tech stack, and years of experience, would help candidates better prepare and set clearer expectations. Without that alignment, it can be a bit confusing, especially after going through several rounds of interviews.
