Spoke with CEO about company, hiring process, and my background, which fit role. Weirdly halfway through a 30 minute interview, the CEO ended it, declared it was a good fit. Next day, CEO replied to my thank you note by saying they were moving fast, had ruled out some other candidates and just needed me to produce a marketing plan before moving forward ASAP. I responded with a detailed marketing plan in 1 business day, then never heard back from company despite 1+ month of outreach. Role had pay range outside of the company's other roles, suggesting they are getting free work via fake interviews. DO NOT DO FREE WORK FOR THIS "COMPANY".
