My application process started when I attended a hiring event Shift Supervisors. The hiring manager ask me a set of typical interview questions then had me filled out a written application (I also brought along a resume.) It ended well the manager then told me that I could go meet with the Area Manager that day before 1:00pm which was 30 minutes away. I hurried out of the store to make it to the other store on time. I met with the Area Manager who asked me many questions. He basically explained the job ever more thoroughly than the last person I spoke with. The more they describe the job duties, the greater it became clear that Rite Aid does not care about their employees and "cheap labor" is the name of the game around there.
After completing a personality test the Hiring Manager called a few days later and stated that they were offering me a job. However, she stressed the word "contingent" which almost made me feel like they were just waiting for me to fail a drug test or something. I mean I am double qualified for the position as I have the experience and I have a college degree. What really sealed the leak was that she also emphasized the $9/hour pay which I found insulting.
Many of the people that I spoke with had worked with Rite Aid for years and seemed to be just settling for the rations they were sold. It's clear to me that Rite Aid is not an appealing place to build a career and I have no regrets in turning down the joke they regarded as an offer.
I was interviewed. I do not want to do this and I think that it is absurd that I am forced to do this just to access some features. I was interviewed about 2 yrs ago I do not remember much and I don't care to.

Only one interview was conducted, with the store manager. Drug test and background check were required. Standard interview questions--nothing complex, no logic or math assessments were required to be completed.
Quick, easy, simple process. I had a great and productive conversation with the employees and supervisors there. Loved it. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a job to walk into rite aid. Do not fill out application online because the process will be prolonged.
