Applied online & got invited to a recruitment day within a week. On the recruitment day there were about 15 of us, we first went round and introduced ourselves & did an ice breaker, then they asked why do we want to work for River Island. Then they split us into pairs and we had to role play, one of us being the customer and one of us being the sales advisor. Try and create a situation within the role play where what the customer wants is out of stock as they want to see what your solution would be and how you would deal with situation. After that they picked a few of us to do a 1 on 1 informal interview. Really lighthearted, just be confident.

My interview was done online with an ai bot who asks you questions. I answered them but I don’t think the questions are the same for everyone. But I did my best and in my opinion interviews online is better than face to face.
