Step 3: Virtual onsite
In the virtual onsite, they cut short the interview because I didn't fare well.
They did not inform me about the cancellation of other rounds and I had to wait for 2 hours on the call thinking that somebody would show up.
Finally, a recruiter called and apologized saying that I didn't do well in the first round.
The feedback that I got that I did not answer them in detail, but they have not asked me to explain more on a particular instance of the topic.

Well structured, good communication, appropriate interviewers. Left a good impression on me. Recruiting team was on the ball. This was a good process. I had 5 interviews spread over 3 different days. All were by video chat.

6 individual interviews. 2 no shows. Wasted my time with no offer. Felt they already have a candidate and just interviewed me to mark off the requirement. Very disappointing as i took day off to attend all and did pretty good answering all their questions. I see other glassdoor reviews echo my experience. Don't waste your time with Rivian interviews.
The interview really didn't stress my technical abilities at all, maybe because it was for a people manager position. There was an interview with another EM which felt more like a chat than an interview. He wanted to know how I structure my team, and support employees at different performance levels. I did another interview with a product manager who asked me situational questions aligned with their company values. And one interview with the HM talking about the role and the makeup of the current team.
