Colloquio per Customer Service and Sales Representative

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura di persona. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Rize Bikes (Richmond, BC)

      Colloquio

Very easy interview, the business is smaller than I expected. The hiring manager was professional, she was transparent with their operations, but I was pretty shocked at how unorganized their organization is. Role: Customer Service and Sales Process: The first interview was over the phone, pretty quick. They gave me a call a week later to ask me to come in for an in-person interview. Their listing is in Vancouver, but when they gave me the office address for the in-person interview its actually in Richmond. I was a little hesitant at first because Richmond is a lot further than Vancouver for me. Cons: My interviewer was a little hesitant to tell me the commission structure which I thought was odd, but it turns out its because their structure is ridiculous. Per invoice - 1st bike $25, 2nd bike $15, 3rd bike $10. I averaged it out when I got home and its about less than 0.5% commission. The major red flag was that you cannot see how much you sold. I have worked many sales jobs and being able to see your own sales is literally what we as sales people work for. So I was pretty turned off after she told me that only the owner gets to see your sales, it kinda sounded like a big scam. She suggested that I kept a note pad and manually track my sales. I got the job offer couple of days later and the contract was very vague, but the most suspicious part is commission is paid once every 2 months and you do not get commission your first month of employment until they think you are "ready". This sounds very scammerish to me.
