      Colloquio per Temp-to-Hire Research Analyst

      24 set 2014
      Candidato anonimo a colloquio

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Robert Half (New York, NY) nel mese di ago 2014

      Colloquio

I found the job on Indeed and submitted my résumé. 5 minutes later (seriously) I got a call to set up an interview. The first interview went well, the position was 3 months, $40/hour. I couldn't turn it down. The interview itself was simple, they just double checked my résumé and research history. I was told I was such a strong candidate that if I walked into that job and said I wanted full time I would get it. Fast forward, I get an email at 9 PM telling me when my second interview will be. If I get through this one, I have the job. I'm told to show up an hour early because there may be an Excel test. The address I was given was incorrect (everyone who was contacted by this one individual had the same incorrect address), so I spent some time searching for it. I finally arrive at the Midtown (Manhattan) location and am told I *must* give in my cellphone. I am given a paper to fill out with general questions about me and three thought provoking questions. They were ludicrous considering the nature of the job (see below). I was in a room with roughly 20 other individuals. No one knew what the company was, how many candidates they were hiring temp, and how many would be hired permanently. We waited for two hours before we were told the entire day's interviews were canceled because there was an emergency in an Ohio location. The interviewers apparently had to get the next flight to Ohio. Now, let me remind you all that this is a temp/career agency. They left a room of 20+ individuals with appointments waiting for hours before canceling for an emergency. They still wouldn't reveal the company's name to which we were applying, just a lame apology. We were told they would reschedule the interviews for a week later when they returned. It has been 6 weeks and I haven't been contacted. Several individuals had taken trains or planes to get to this interview and were told they could possibly get reimbursed. I contacted my representative and was told I would get a travel reimbursement "within 2 weeks" and 6 weeks later I have received nothing.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

      1. A, B, and C are in the desert. A wants to kill C, so he poisons C's water. B also wants to kill C, so he cuts a hole in C's water sack to dehydrate him. a couple days later C dies of thirst. Who killed C? 2. You have 9 balls. One of them is slightly heavier than the rest (which are all the same weight). You can't tell which is the heavier one by sight or feel. In the least amount of effort, how od you figure out which one is the heavy ball?
