I was profoundly disappointed by the complete lack of professionalism and respect shown during my recruitment process with Roche. After successfully completing two rounds, including a video assessment, I was completely ghosted by both the hiring manager and the Talent Acquisition representative with absolutely no follow-up or explanation regarding the outcome. In my career, I have participated in numerous interview processes, but I would never have expected a company with Roche's credentials and strong brand reputation for ethics to be so unprofessional. I reached out numerous times to request an update. Initially, I received vague responses like "nothing yet," but soon after, my attempts were simply ignored. Months later, the only communication I received was an automated email asking me to rate my candidate experience, a frankly baffling request given the circumstances. My experience aligns with reports from people within the business that Roche is highly bureaucratic and slow with all internal processes. This issue is not only a poor reflection on the company but also significantly degrades the candidate experience. I provided direct feedback also, to be met with more silence.
