The interview process was lengthy. The candidate interviews first with HR in the Minneapolis headquarters, then if approved does interviews with 3-4 of the leaders of the store they're applying with.

They were quick to follow up. It was quite a long process, took a lot of time with meeting a lot of people for a part time role. Design activity included to show design skills for a room.

Interview with a series of staff one half hour each round, feels more like a conversation, typical questions are asked and they make you feel confortable, the managers are very nice

The interview process is broken into 2 interviews; the first is a phone call interview with someone based in HQ and the second is with the store of application. The phone interview was a very basic getting-to-know-you call that gives insight of the company's culture and what the second interview would entail. The second, in-store interview consists of basic behavioral questions mixed in with questions about experience, teamwork, collaboration, and design interest. The in-store interview also contained a "design challenge," where the applicant gets the opportunity to show their style/eye.
Unfortunately, I was not extended an offer and was told it was because of my tardiness (under 10m) coming into the interview. However, I appreciated that they provided reasoning and also gave encouraging feedback regarding the rest of the interview. Overall, a pleasant experience.
