I applied through the website of Root. And a team member from Product called and talked about my previous experience and what I am doing now? What my interests are?

Applied online, was invited to do a 30 minute logic test within a week. Test was 16 questions; 1/2 were SAT Math -type questions and the rest dealt with Raven's Progressive Matricies. Having never seen that type of problem before, I bombed it and was told they were not moving forward with my application the next day. The process was pretty streamlined, but the assessment could have been more relevant to the role.
