Basically, the online interview was pleasant, tolerant and respectful. It took around 1.5 hours on Skype. It included technical part at its end, and an home task. The process done by CTO (if I’m not wrong) that's not involves with Front-end technologies. Therefore, it was pure Back-end like interview. Absolutely nothing about the web. In my opinion, when you're looking for a Web Developer Tech-Lead, you should discuss with the candidate about his Front-end skills and where he can contribute. There should be questions about Web/Client/Browser/JavaScript/CSS/HTML/React/Angular/State Management and etc!
That’s why I marked the overall process as negative. Because it is negative interview for Front-end developer.
The home task, which was to implement a Deque, is where I failed. As enthusiastic Front-end senior developer and a Tech Lead, I totally lost the interest.
By the way, JavaScript have it built-in Deque in the Array object!
