The interview took 3 weeks. Phone interview first then meeting up with the meeting on Skype. Questions about my background and how will I fit the team. I have to accept to manage the project without supervision as the Principal investigator did not have the time.

Talk with PI about the your career goal and post research projects, what you can bring to the team, also the description of the projects the PI has, the team size, and job description.
