Began through LinkedIn when a SAIC recruiter messaged me to gauge my interest and eventually see some of my web related work. Then a second phone screen within a couple weeks to talk a little more about my technical abilities. Since I didn't have much knowledge of certain web technologies, I was still able to express my willingness to learn, good attitude, and genuine interest. They then setup a meet and greet and then give you a call to extend an offer. The process can vary as they can only move as quickly as the client does. Sometimes there's an urgent need and could take less than a month to start. My process took about 4 months.
