Long process spanning two months multiple interviews and phone calls. Multiple different interviewers told me "titles didn't matter there" and that I could "define my own role" and that SAE was fine with them. Two months passes with the process and the offer finally comes with the lower title and less money then I asked for by about 5,000-7.000. I tried to negotiate and they pulled the offer saying "they were bummed I wouldn't be working with them." I felt like they wasted my time and misled me.
