I had interview in NYC office. HR, Associate and CEO participated in interview.
Questions about working experience in CD / Design were given during interview. HR person showed me around office after interview.

I was interviewed by the principal and a partner. The interview included two parts - a conversation and a CAD test. They immediately called to make an offer in 1-2 days but it was less than I was making at my current job so I declined on the spot. The partner then offered me 5K more which was still less than what I was making currently . Most of the time people leave their current job because they are not making enough. I told them I would take a few days to consider but ended up declining. When I did decline, the principal wrote me a nasty email to say “it’s not about the money - it’s about learning and growing”. I agree to some extent but his opinion does not pay for my bills. He doesn’t know me or my current situation. There was no need to be salty.
