In the first stage screening the recruiter asks you to select a time slot that suits you via email. You click on the appropriate choice and then you get an interview confirmation email follow-up. The first stage interview is generally with an HR member and/or a recruiter specialist. The questions are a mix of HR-type questions and 'light technical' questions they may or may not even know the answers to themselves. They just want to see how you answer. The next stage interview is with personnel that actually work in the department you are applying to. There are more questions that are technical in nature.
