This had 3 stages, screening, panel interview and final interview was F2F. I was extremely disappointed as the outcome in terms of the feedback. No concrete feedback given after 3 interviews " We are currently proceeding with another candidate- will circle back if any changes."
This is shocking for a TA Manager - As a Senior TA myself I would never provide this feedback to a candidate - candidate journey is very important. Needless to say I responded back asking for detailed feedback but this too was, I believe to pacify me. I am adult enough to receive constructive feedback telling me someone else's background was more aligned as well as growth objectives after I advised that they were not representing the brand well. Personally I believe it may have been a few things -one of them was ageism as I know that I am a lot older than the team . I am currently in a very diverse team ranging from early 20's through to 50+
I would recommend that candidate feedback be looked into as all candidates, irrespective of level deserve constructive feedback and not the normal one liner - cliche's "someone stronger .. and the likes." They have put effort into submitting and application and attending an interview. They at least deserve the courtesy of authentic, transparent feedback.
