Three rounds -
1. L1 round - Completely technical interview spanning around 30-40 min.
2. L2 round with the business practice manager to understand my experience spanning around 20 min.
Two rounds were wonderful and went well. Both the managers are wonderful. Then comes the final HR discussion.
3. HR discussion one on one- spanning around 50 min- pathetic. It's worst experience with such a large organization. I didn't expect such unprofessional attitude from them. During the discussion she says she cannot offer me Architect position as it is against their company policy. Only people with 10+ years can have the designation. When asked how did she process me for the position if it is against company policy. She reiterates the same line of company policy. They backed out on the compensation for which I was very particular about. The HR who did the negotiation is unprofessional. Didn't expect this from such company. Big story cut short they we're doing a very dirty bargain but cutting the slack on everything. I simply rejected the whole process. You can be better. When an employee can't trust you before joining how do you expect them to trust and join. Be transparent with the whole process. Don't assume things.

Objective: To evaluate the candidate’s technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Process:
Conducted by a technical interviewer or a panel.
Can include coding tests, technical questions related to the job, and problem-solving exercises.
For QA roles, this might involve questions on testing methodologies, tools like Selenium or Playwright, and specific scenarios to understand the candidate's thought process.

the interview process was very smooth and accommodative overall....the process took about 2 months but fully satisfied with the recruitment team. This is one of the best interview process i have ever encountered.
