First off, thank you for the time you put in to share your feedback.
We strive to continuously perfect our interview process and let us assure you that hourly rate is not the main topic of our interview process. It is one out of around 10 questions in the very beginning of the application process, when submitting it. We think remuneration is one of the crucial elements of an application and the question is a standard practice. We are sorry however, that you felt like this was the only topic discussed during the interview.
We strive to offer fair remuneration with the intention on a raise every 6 months (based on a performance review). We leave it to the candidate to provide the rate that satisfies their expectation, which can be a very subjective matter. So it is important for you and for us to discuss this during the interview. In case a rate offered to us is outside our budget plans we do play that back to the candidate and do provide our hourly rate window. But we never negotiate rates as we respect the candidates expectation for their remuneration. We do appreciate your comments and we can assure you that we are continuously improving in all our processes.
All the best!
