This company requires one of those cringe-worthy video pre-screens where you record a video of yourself answering questions. The one-way video helps save the hiring team time, I'm sure, which is fine. But it really is an awkward intro to a company and leaves a lot of questions on my mind (who has access to the video? who exactly is watching it? where does the video end up after they view it?)
Anyway, after passing the screening, I get a call for an in-person interview which went well. The people interviewing seemed rusty and basically just read questions off of a sheet they printed off. But it was fine. After the interview, I sent a thank you to everyone that interviewed me...and then I heard nothing!
The reason I'm sharing a review is to let other interviewees know that this is a company that you may never hear back from after your in-person interview. If I read a review saying this - I would find it helpful. Especially if I went through the very long application process AND the pre-interview video that this company requires. The least they could have done is shared that maybe I wasn't the right candidate for the role; but I would have even taken a simple reply to my thank you note. It is so unprofessional to have someone come all the way out to interview for a job and then never follow-up with them in any way. Ghosting is not a good look on a company!
