I went through an interview process with SSI Schaefer that left me with some concerns. The first round was a face-to-face interview with both the hiring manager and HR manager, followed by a set of 3 assignments. These assignments required significant time and effort, involving in-depth research, strategy development and proposals for an upcoming campaign. While I understand the need for candidates to showcase their abilities, I felt that the scope of the assignments was excessive, particularly since they closely aligned with the company’s immediate needs.
In the end, I was informed that the role was filled internally, which led me to question whether this was a ghost job posting. The process felt misleading, as it seems the position was never fully open to external candidates. I hope the company will take steps to ensure a more transparent and fair interview process in the future.
