Open job interview: walk in one on one interview. Took less than 30 minutes and they give you a packet to fill out. You come back for uniform later on when you get badged

A corporate recruiter reached out to me with standard screening questions and then set up a time for me to come to the airport to interview. I confirmed the location, time, and who I was to meet with, and no one showed. Worse, I waited over an hour and received no correspondence from the recruiter or hiring manager. Not even an acknowledgment to inform me the position had been filled. It was a huge waste of time and pretty degrading as a job seeker. I reached out to both the recruiter and manager to discuss rescheduling, maybe there was a mix-up (I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt) but nothing - it was radio silent, and that spoke volumes. Lack of communication is a big red flag for me and the environment I prefer to work in. For reference, this was in Sacramento, CA.
