Had a screening interview that went well. Then an hr long technical interview. What was weird about the technical interview was that the application said you didn’t need to know .net as an entry level but in the technical interview they expected you to. At first they asked me if I could basically recite definitions of a lot of .net concepts. Then one of the interviewers screen shared their code and asked to explain what each line meant. After that they gave me a theoretical scenario and asked me to describe how I would architect an app from top to bottom, and wanted me to be specific on what I would use, why and how I would implement it. I thought this was a bit overkill for an entry level job to be honest.
