      Colloquio

After a brief in-person interview, they will likely take you to lunch for a longer 30 minute-1 hour interview. They are not particularly upfront about the fact that you will be doing door-to-door sales and spend a lot of time trying to sell you on their company. Seems like a multi-level marketing scheme or something similar.

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 3 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso STL Executives (Saint Louis, MO) nel mese di set 2015

      Colloquio

The interviewers and staff are friendly, but the process seems kind of strange. The company is very tentative to tell potential hirees what they actually do--which is door to door sales. There was one initial brief interview which is pretty easy, followed by another longer interview where they take you to lunch. This interview is a little more rigorous, but overall pretty standard STAR questions. They do a lot to make you feel comfortable, and it seems like they really, really want to hire you or anyone for that matter, even if they say you are one of the few to make it to the 2nd or 3rd interview. Overall, seems like a multi-level marketing scheme.

Bonjour! Thanks for getting online and writing a review about our company's interviewing process. Everyone here is so friendly and nice, it makes working here not seem like work. We develop such great friendships amongst one another and actually care about everyone succeeding... now that you say it and I thought about it...that is kind of strange isn't it? Knowing that I do most of the interviewing I can say that I am not tentative about anything. We don't really, really want to hire everyone, just the right ones. We are always recruiting, but not always hiring. If we weren't always recruiting, then our company wouldn't be able to grow and expand like we did 5 months ago and are about to again within the next 3 months. This is where I have to get serious: I am a little insulted that you feel we are a scheme of any sort. I started entry level and worked very hard to get to where I am today. A multi level marketing scheme is when a salesperson makes money off sales and also off the sales of those he/she recruits. No salesperson makes money off of anyone in our office. We are not looking for people to be salesmen, like we stated to you throughout the interviewing process. We are looking to develop the skills one needs to manage and then train this person up to management. I started doing sales and in 18 months earned a promotion into management. I was raised better than to try to "scheme" anyone, and I teach my son those same beliefs. I wish you the best on your future endeavors.
