The first interview is on zoom. it is with a committee from the department I was applying for. it lasted about 45 minutes. First they told m about the school and the program then there were questions
usual questions on teaching and research agenda, statement and vision, asked the presentation on research/teaching (it's stated in advance) go through meeting some students and staff. campus tour, meet the faculty, see facilities

the setting up process went smooth, however , once the interview started it was not clear that a systematic process was going on , i was not sure why people were in the interview , and why others were not ; the person that made the decision was probably not attending " the chair" " i was told at the end of the interview that he will be calling me on Skype in an hour ; i waited , it never happened , and no one gave me any explanation, or notice, i had to wait online until i got bored enough to ask in an email , and fortunately got a response saying enjoy your evening, which i did
