TL;DR: they either lie or have no idea what they're doing, not recommended The whole process took almost 4 months due to relevant managers or company infrastructure being unavailable/down. First a video call with a recruiter, then a 30 min interview with the team managers, then a 60 min interview with the same managers and two team members, finally a "sync interview" with only the one team manager. I passed all interviews and then was told by the manager in no uncertain terms (in the "sync" video call) that the recruiter would contact me with an offer, most likely the same week, upon which more than two weeks passed before I received a canned e-mail that the position has been filled.
