I sent a follow up shortly after asking if I was still being considered. Crickets.
These companies need to remember that they are not only interviewing us, we are looking at them as well. Having no decency to answer in a quick email saying 'I'm sorry we went with another candidate' is all it takes.
HR is the front of the house, they should really be conscious of correspondence. I have a bad taste for them now, and am happy I did not get the job. It is indicative of how they treat their employees.
